2018 Positions - Pacific Hope School

Pacific Hope School is currently a Year Five to Year 10 special School, within the grounds of Pacific Coast Christian School, enrolling students diagnosed with mild/moderate intellectual disability and autism spectrum disorder for whom a mainstream school environment is not suitable.

Our Schools’ purpose is to provide a Christian educational community as a centre of teaching, learning and serving excellence founded on Biblically based beliefs, values and behaviour.

Located in the beautiful Tweed region of the far north coast New South Wales, only one-hour south of Brisbane, five minutes from the Gold Coast airport, Pacific Hope School is a truly unique and dynamic school offering an innovative approach to curriculum and pastoral care.

We seek resourceful, engaging staff to join our professional team involved in the exciting challenge of providing quality Christian education in a community based on love, nurture and service.

Due to growth in numbers of our student population, as well as being approved by NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) to begin a Year 3/4 class starting in 2018, we are also looking to fill a role for each of a full-time Junior School teacher as well as a full-time Youth Support Worker beginning in 2018.

Successful applicants will be involved in their local church, show initiative in contributing to our vibrant educational community and have a vision that seeks to glorify God and influence the leaders of tomorrow.

These positions are for team players who are passionate and who will view this as an opportunity to use their gifts in other ministry areas as well.

Relevant application forms are available for download from the Pacific Coast Christian School website www.pacificcoast.nsw.edu.au. Shortlisted applicants will be interviewed onsite in Tweed Heads South.
