CSSA State Touch Football Championships

2016 03 04 001On 31st March Mr David Peck and five Senior School students travelled down to Coffs Harbour with representatives from other North Coast Schools to participate in the CSSA State Touch Football Championships. On Thursday the team participated in training and bonding sessions. The Carnival was held on Friday 1st April. Each team participated in 6-7 games.

The competition was very tough but our Pacific Coast students did exceptionally well. The junior girls team, including Amy Broadhurst came 3rd overall. The senior boys team , including Joshua Weule and Josiah Hughes were champions of the day. Courtney Hart, Jared Whitaker and Joshua Weule were all selected as part of the CSSA State team for their divisions. Congratulations to all students on a fantastic effort and showing great sportsmanship and team spirit!
