Christian Community
Our Christian community allows students to belong and feel safe. They grow spiritually and learn effectively in an authentic Christian community, surrounded by Christian staff who help children develop and flourish as they follow God’s design for life. Our teachers foster spiritual formation in a community, living in a close relationship with God, practising justice, compassion, kindness and love.
Solid Foundation
Our dedicated teachers genuinely and passionately nurture, encourage and guide each student. Our commitment is to help students shape their character, develop their abilities, and use their individual gifts to serve others to positively impact the School, surrounding communities and the wider world.
Serving Our Community
From the start of their educational journey, our students follow the SERVE model of safety, effort, respect, volunteer and excellence. They embrace this responsibility to serve others in our community and beyond and grow in wisdom, respect, courage and compassion, preparing them for the future.
Quality Interactive Learning
Learning Support
Inclusive learning for all students is our goal. We understand that learning styles and capacities are diverse. Our dedicated learning and support team works strategically with teachers to assist students facing learning challenges, and our extension programs cater to advanced learners, ensuring that all students can thrive in their academic studies.
Parent Partnership
To provide an excellent Christian education for your child and guide them towards a purposeful future, we believe in building a collaborative partnership with parents/carers. Together, we can foster engaged, confident, lifelong learners who are equipped to thrive in all aspects of life.
NSW Curriculum
Junior School teaching and learning is a tailored curriculum based on the NESA key areas of developing creativity, problem-solving and self-confidence.
Student Wellbeing
Student wellbeing is our top priority. Creating a safe, nurturing and supportive environment means children can flourish and are empowered to learn effectively.
Christian Education
All teaching and learning at Pacific Coast Christian School is shaped by a Biblical worldview. Our Christian beliefs and values are embedded into curriculum learning.
Every child is recognised as uniquely created by God, and our teachers pastorally care for each child, helping them to develop their potential and find purpose in God’s world.
Curriculum at Coast
Junior School teaching follows NESA curriculum subjects in tailored, day-to-day learnings: Literacy, Numeracy, Science, History, Geography, Personal Development, Health and Physical Education, Music, Art, Biblical Studies and Technology.
Each student’s literacy skills are assessed to enhance learning and identify gaps, allowing us to implement the Mini-Lit and Initial-Lit programs to develop literacy capabilities where required.
Students use 1:1 electronic devices to enhance progressive learning in a safe environment in a digital age. K-2 students use iPads and Years 3-4 students use laptops.
But Jesus called the children to him and said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.
- Luke 18:16
