School Readiness Program

Our “Preppies” are valued, known, and nurtured. Our Prep program prepares your child to transition seamlessly to Kindergarten. Through age-appropriate learning activities, play and fostering interpersonal skills, we help them form friendships and develop key foundational abilities. Our program fosters curiosity, exploration, new experiences, structure, routine, personal responsibility, safety and confidence building. Prep helps your child thrive as they start this exciting educational journey.

Integrated Program

We provide your child with a Christian education where, from the beginning, faith is integrated into the learning curriculum.

Our program is a good balance of structured in-class and outdoor learning and play. Introductory literacy and numeracy lessons are based on the NESA Early Stage One curriculum, and are complemented by specialist classes – Music, Sport, and library visits.

Flexibility

We understand the importance of flexibility with busy and changing schedules. We provide the convenience of choosing between Monday-Tuesday or Thursday-Friday attendance options. Frequently Asked Questions

Can I come and visit the School?

Our School conducts Principal Twilight Tours, led by our Principal, where families can learn how Pacific Coast can support your child's academic and spiritual growth. If you are unable to attend a Twilight Tour, we would be delighted to provide your family with a personalised onsite tour with our Registrar so you can see our school in action and become familiar with the spirit of our dedicated learning community.

Do we have to be Christians to enrol?

We are delighted to welcome families of varying backgrounds and faiths to enrol their children. Our School, however, is distinctly Christian and requires all families and children enrolled at Pacific Coast to observe, respect and support the Christian beliefs, values and practices of this faith-based community where all students fully participate in all school programs, activities and courses of study which enables students to explore and engage with their journey of Christian faith.

Does Prep include structured learning?

Prep classes provide a structured, well-rounded learning program (based on the NESA Early Stage One curriculum) that includes a mix of essential literacy and numeracy lessons as well as regular complementary specialist classes such as Music, Sport and Library visits. We include a blend of in-class and outdoor learning and play.
