Serving Our Community

Students in Senior School have followed our SERVE model during their school life: Safety, Effort, Respect, Volunteer, and Excellence. They become living models to fellow students as they serve in-school and across our local community and demonstrate Christian values and ethics as they inspire others through their acts of service.

Empowering Lifelong Learners

Dynamic Education

Tailored learning in Senior School with a blend of compulsory and elective subjects.

Subjects

Personalised educational experience: Senior School's broad range of tailored compulsory and elective subjects cater to your child's unique learning needs and areas of study interest.

Parent Information Evenings

Successful educational journeys require a choice of the right subjects. Parent Information Evenings support students in Senior School to choose subjects that are right for them.

NSW Curriculum

Senior School implements the NSW curriculum and provides customised learning opportunities, exploration and extension through diverse core subjects, electives, and VET courses aligned with NESA's key areas.

Years 9-10:  Discovering areas of interest through a wide range of electives.
Years 11-12: Comprehensive HSC options, extension opportunities and VET courses.

Technology

Technology is a significant educational tool. Blended learning with CANVAS and online enhances independent learning, critical thinking, technological literacy and future readiness.
Our Senior School BYOD (Bring your own device) strategy enhances independent learning, and student collaboration, with seamless integration between in-school and at-home learning.

Pastoral Educators

Our teachers are more than educators. They are Pastoral and know each student’s strengths, helping them find their God-given gifts. They assist students in choosing the right pathways for Year 12 and beyond.

Learning Online

Greater choice, flexible learning: Partnering with Pacific Online, we offer a wide range of subjects, providing our students access to comprehensive courses whilst remaining connected and nurtured in our community.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the School offer personal tours?

It would be our pleasure to provide you with a tour of our campus, introduce you to our staff and explain the Christian education that shapes our holistic approach to developing and nurturing students. Join one of our Twilight tours with our Principal and Registrar, or let us take you on a personalised tour of Pacific Coast Christian School, where you will experience our school in action and gain insight into the spirit of our learning community.

Do you teach specialised subjects?

Complementing our Senior School faculties is Pacific Online which provides 'live' and 'on demand' tuition on a growing range of subjects. Students can access these teacher-led lessons onsite in our dedicated Pacific Online Hub or outside School hours. Pacific Online is ideal for students requiring certain subjects for their HSC in order to prepare for specific university courses or career paths.

Do you teach Agriculture at the School?

Our Year 9-10 students are involved with hands-on agricultural tasks. They design and manage their own vegetable gardens, propagation of seedlings and look after the ducks on site. Agriculture is not yet taught as a curriculum subject.
